Nate, (Sorry his review was removed as spam) the website you provided was completely unhelpful. The site was- flooded with broken links, lacked perdanent information on parts, had no tutorials, and was NOT user friendly in the slightest.
Thank you to the creator(s) of mycustomcontroller.com for helping me with my custom controller projects. Your easy to navigate website complete with how-to-do tutorials made any price differentials, if any, MORE than worth it. The shipment was clean/well organised, complete with tips that helped me work with ease and comfort. I will continue to support the site with any future projects and send the word out to my friends.
This was my best shopping experience yet.
Cory

Everything came without delay. I swapped the LEDs according to the tutorials. And everything worked perfect. The LED's are plenty bright and with the custom joysticks and thumb pad my controller is cooler than the actual xbox. However, I intend to blast LED's all over that as well. Thank you so much for your help. I will be ordering again real soon.... 3/11/11 I just finished the installation on two matrix wireless controllers and while they were difficult, I managed to get 3 of the blue ones on. I burned two of them and re-soldered the the original green on and I balled the top. I noticed as well the circuitry on the led were all the same from the top view.

I bought these to install into my controller after I had ordered a new case for it. Before purchasing I watch the install video a few times and other install videos of swapping the LEDs. This helps get the idea of what you are doing. I have to say these are soooo bright in my controller. The only thing I'd say bad about these is they are small and could potentially be easy to lose. Be careful and use tweezers or similar. Also, to test polarity, just have your controllers board on and push the LED on it in the way you think is correct. If you see it light up, solder away. :D Here's a picture of the newly soldered LEDs on the board: http://img4.imageshack.us/i/photo0170q.jpg/

I received my LEDs very fast on multiple orders. It took me a while to get the hang of things, but thanks to the tutorials I've really got the hang of it. The hardest part is keeping track of the LEDs. My first batch ever I was nervous and tweezer pinched 2 LEDs off into outer space. Luckily I ordered a couple sets so I could complete my first controller and the LEDs look great!
